Cat’s Cradle

A drought tolerant native garden for two cats, a couple, and some pollinators. This West Adams yard is a nook meant for introverted creatures. Nepata faassenii, Carex pansa, carex praegracilis, Bouteloua gracilis 'blonde ambition', Phlomis fruticosa, and verbena drift around to create a hideout for iced tea after a bike ride. Heart redwood is used to create a bench and a Dol Sot - 돌솥 water bowl for the client's 19 year old cat Boo. To be mortared in w the tiger eye flagstone. Nuzzled w Nepata faassenii, Cat's Meow Catmint. This is for all the cat lovers in the house. The frontyard is a drought tolerant native meadow with reused concrete from the site demolition.
